‘Jenna Runs Disney’ is a blog that is run by a girl from Ohio named Jenna. This blog is all about the basics to running a virtual runDisney race. I chose this blog because I recently ran a virtual challenge, and this blog contains all the advice that I would give an to provide an optimistic spin on this style of racing. Jenna uses logos to help the reader see the logic behind running virtually in this clement as opposed to running in a crowed space. She also displays ethos in her ‘about’ section, where she talks about her experience. If I were to make any changes it would be to add a few images of locations that she completed the races.

This post was made on July 1, 2021, by tanialamb to the blog ‘Lola Lambchops.’ The blog talks about the pros and cons to running a runDisney race and asking the hard question of “if it’s all worth i?” I chose this article because it is a realistic perspective. The author talks about the insane skyrocketing of prices and all the other costs such as park tickets that are now required to race. The blog is not sugar coated at all. The author uses logos to help the reader to see the side of the races that people don’t like to talk about. The author also uses pathos on the side of relatability; nothing can replace the feeling you get doing Disney runs. A weakness of this blog is that there are far too many distracting ads.

In the linked blog post you can find the links to all her pervious race posts. I chose this blog because of Karen’s experience and good advice. This blog uses ethos through her experience: she has participated in ten challenge races. I like her use of a John Dewey quote “Arriving at one goal is the starting point to another,” at the beginning of the linked post because it encourages motivation. I wouldn’t change anything about this blog, she has experience and stand-up advice as well as images of individual races.
